Keep the spreadsheet. Add one thing.

A lot of owners think they need to start over — throw out the spreadsheet, ditch the paper notebook, move everything into some new system they have to learn. That's almost always wrong, and it's usually the reason nothing changes.

The tools you already use work. They work because you know them. The problem isn't the tools. The problem is the follow-up that lives in your head and never happens — the reminder you meant to send, the customer you meant to call back next month.

So keep the spreadsheet. Keep the Trello board, the Airtable base, the Square account. Add one small thing running beside them: an automatic reminder that pings you (or the customer) at the right time. That's the piece that's missing, and it's the piece that's cheap.

We build around what you have. We don't rip it out. If your spreadsheet is how you track jobs, we make the reminders fire from it. If you take notes on paper, we set a calendar reminder from the date you wrote down. One added piece, not a whole new world.
